Honda, Yamaha announce another jump in bike prices


The country’s top motorcycles companies have announced a hefty increase in the prices of all models of their motorcycles.

The Honda company registered a jump in prices from Rs5,000 to Rs15,000 in its whole range of motorbikes while Yamaha company raised prices of its all brands from Rs23,000 to Rs26,500.

Honda’s best-selling model CD-70 registered an increase of Rs5,000 in its price and will now be available at Rs111,500. Its other brand CG-125 can now be purchased for Rs174,500 after a raise of Rs6,000 in its price.

The rate of CB-125F has been increased by Rs10,000 and its actual price will now be Rs263,900.—INP
