Govt firm to promote tourism in Punjab


Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Punjab, Muhammad Mamoon Tarar has said that present government of PTI is taking all possible measures to promote tourism in the Punjab and a sum of two billion of rupees is being spent to develop new recreational places and to improve exited recreational stations.
Talking to journalists at Hafizabad, on Saturday, he said that the government was committed to ensure provision of quality healthcares to people at their doorsteps and Rs. 12 billion was being spent to provide treatment facilities to poor people through Health cards.
Replaying to a question, he said that the Punjab government was spending more than eleven billion of rupees to upgrade of District Headquarter and Tehsil Headquarter Hospitals in backward areas of the province including Hafizabad under Revamping Programme.—Bashir Ahmad Rehmani
