JAMSHORO – The city administration of Jamshoro has announced a local holiday on February 7 on account of the Urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
Deputy Commissioner Gazanfar Ali Chaudhy has issued a notification in this regard, stating that all education institutions will remain closed on Feb 7.
The three-day Urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar are set to begin in Sehwan, attracting millions of devotees from across Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways has announced operating three special trains to Sehwan Sharif to assist pilgrims attending the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
The first train departed from Faisalabad on Wednesday, the second from Lahore on the same day, and the third from Lahore on February 5.
These special services aim to offer pilgrims a safe, comfortable, and hassle-free journey to the Urs. The authorities of Pakistan Railways have directed all relevant departments to ensure the timely operation of these trains and provide quality service to the passengers.
