Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, arrived in Phnom Penh Tuesday to lead the Pakistani delegation at the 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference, hosted by the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Upon arrival, the Chairman Senate was warmly received by senior dignitaries of the Senate of Cambodia and the Royal Government.
Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem, Ambassador of Pakistan to Cambodia, was also present on the occasion. During his arrival, Chairman Gilani expressed his sincere gratitude to the Senate of Cambodia and the Royal Government for hosting the conference. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to promoting parliamentary cooperation, dialogue, and collective efforts for peace, mutual understanding, and sustainable development among nations.
