The son of former Gilgit Baltistan Governor Barjees Tahir attempted to run over a traffic police personnel with his car in Lahore’s DHA on Friday.
Police in provincial capital registered a case against the PML-N leader under sections 279, 386, and 189 related to rash driving, and threat of injury to a public servant.
The clip of the incident was recorded by other officers on duty and it went viral, where the man in a car with tinted glasses can be seen escaping traffic police and then attempting to run over another police personnel who refused to step aside from his position.
The situation escalates when son of a politician attempts to flee the scene, apparently injuring an officer.
