Elderly man crushed to death

An elderly man was crushed to death by an over speeding truck here on Friday, police said. According to details, a reckless driven truck ran over elderly man while crossing Jandiala road in Sheikhupura. As a result of accident, 90-year-old Miskeen Ali was killed on the spot and truck driver fled the scene. The body shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case against truck driver at large started raids for his arrest.—INP
