Elahi on Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill All sects to be taken onboard


Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi on Wednesday said that Ulema from all schools of thoughts will be taken on board on the important issue of Tahaffuz-e-Bunyaad-e-Islam Bill and consultation for the purpose is underway.
“More consultation will be held after Moharrumul Harram and as soon as the process, Insha Allah invisible help will also come from Allah (SWT).” PML-Q chief and Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi was talking to Naib Sajjada Hazrat Sultan Bahu, Sahibzada Sultan Fayyazul Hassan who called on him at his residence here on Wednesday.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that unity is the need of the hour and the only tool to thwart all conspiracies of the enemies.
He urged the scholars from all sects to forge unity among their followers, especially in view of the upcoming holy month of Muharram to foil nefarious designs of the anti-social elements.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Chairman Committee Punjab Assembly Mian Shafi Muhammad, Muhammad Aleem Yaqoob Sultan and Shakeel Sultan were also present.
Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that every Muslim wants to follow Islam in its true sense and Ulema from all school of thoughts will be taken onboard to strengthen harmony among all sects.
Sahibzada Sultan Fayyazul Hassan said that people have pinned lots of hopes on PML-Q and its leadership, adding that people still cherish great love for Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed and with the passage of this act, his soul will be happy.
He said that Ch Parvez Elahi has always talked openly in the assembly regarding religious matters and dream of making Pakistan fort of Islam will surely be fulfilled one day. He said that religious segments are standing with you and you have taken a very appreciable step by banning books against Ideology of Pakistan and Islamic teachings which religious segments cannot forget.
Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti awarded appreciation certificates to leading young achievers – Huzaifa Ahmed, Farhan Ayub and 9-year-old tennis player Hania Minhas – in a ceremony at his office on Wednesday.
The ceremony was arranged to mark International Youth Day and acknowledge the achievements of Pakistan’s young prominent performers. Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, Director Sports Hafeez Bhatti, SBP Chief Consultant Shahid Faqeer Virk and other officials were also present on this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said these young stars are doing wonderful jobs on their own and they are our real asset.
“The whole nation is proud of their remarkable distinctions. They are also providing great inspiration to young generation of the country,” he added.
