Dry weather to prevail

Islamabad—Mainly dry weather Friday was forcas for most parts of country during next 24 hours. An official of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) told APP that the weather would remain dry in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next few days and no significant rain was likely during the period.
The official said the day and night temperatures would fall during the coming days while there were no chances of any significant rain spell till December. The Winter season would start with delay and less than average rains were likely during the season due to climatic changes, the official added. According to the synoptic situation, continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country.
The Karachi Meteorological Department on Friday forecast mostly sunny weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours. An official of the Met Office said that maximum temperature in the metropolis is expected to remain between 33 and 35 degrees Centigrade during the period with 45 to 55 per cent humidity.—APP
