Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin accorded warm welcome on his arrival as State Guest

The 53rd leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin arrived in Karachi last night.

His Holiness was received at the airport by Chief Minister of Sind, Mr. Murad Ali Shah and Governor Sind, Mr. Imran Ismail alongside other community members while strictly adhering to COVID-19 protocols.

On his arrival, His Holiness thanked Chief Minister of Sind, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and other officials for inviting him as State Guest to Karachi.

His Holiness prayed for the prosperity and good health of the people, particularly during these challenging times, and commended the exemplary efforts of the government for the containment of COVID-19 in the State.

His Holiness had last visited Karachi in July 2019 and in September 2017 to conduct Ashara Mubaraka – a period of ten days at the beginning of the Islamic year dedicated to the remembrance of the Prophet Mohammed SAW and his Ahle Bayt AS (family and kin), specifically his grandson Imam Husain AS.
