Doctors, staff of ATH continue strike

Ongoing strike of doctors and sanitation staff in Ayub Teaching Hospital complex entered in 12th day and KP government or KP health authorities with divisional administration put deaf ear on the strike and all efforts by the hospital administration for the removal of garbage fails when striking doctors and employees threw trolleys full of dirt in front of the wards.

The management issued show cause notices to the strike leaders. BOG and the hospital management will take an important decision today (Thursday) about negotiating with the strikers. All the unions, including doctors, paramedics, nurses, sanitation staff, have been on strike for their demands for the last eleven days in Ayub Medical Complex.
