Corps Commander calls on KP governor

The newly appointed Corps Commander, Peshawar, Left. Gen. Nauman Mahmood called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Shah Farman here at Governor’s House, on Wednesday. He remained with the Governor for some time and discussed matters pertaining to overall security situation in the province and Tribal districts in particular. During the meeting the Governor felicitated the corps commander on his appointment and expressed his well wishes for him.
Talking on this occasion, the Governor highlighted the importance of the services being rendered by Pak Army in maintenance of peace in the area and said that the nation will always feel proud on the immortal sacrifices which the jawans and officers of the armed forces are rendering for ensuring security and stability of the state.
