Cold, dry weather to persist

The met office Sunday forecast mainly cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
Howevere, foggy conditions are likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
According to synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Meanwhile, it is reported that Gilgit-Baltistan is under grip of harsh cold weather condition and minimum temperature has gone below freezing point.
According to Radio Pakistan, Skardu remained coldest district in Gilgit-Baltistan with minimum temperature minus ten degree centigrade today.
Gilgit met has predicted cold and dry weather during the next twenty four hours. The cold weather has paralysed normal life and routine activities and the people preferred to remain indoors.—APP
