COAS, ISI chief meet PM to discuss internal, external security matters


ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt General Faiz Hameed called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday.

According to the details, the civilian and military leaders discussed matters pertaining to internal and external security in the meeting.

Earlier, the military leaders held a meeting with the prime minister on Feb 1, 2021 to discuss national security.

The Pakistan Army chief had lauded the ISI’s tireless efforts towards national security during a visit to the intelligence headquarters last month.
