The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf lawyer has argued that it is a constitutional offence on the part of a political party members if they cast their votes against their party’s policy.

Lawyer Ali Zafar was giving his arguments in the disqualification case being heard by the Election Commission of Pakistan against PTI dissidents on Friday.

During the hearing, the commission provided copies of the PTI rejoinder to the lawyer of the dissident members who raised objection to the new documents.

Earlier, the lawyer for dissident members had demanded a copy of the PTI rejoinder submitted to the commission.

However, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja said that it would be appropriate if the PTI lawyer would start giving his arguments.
