Former District Nazim Hafizabad Col. (R) Ali Ahmad Awan said that all efforts made for beautification of city cannot yield desired results until elimination of encroachments in all bazaars, markets and roads.
In a statement issued here, he said that clumsy shades erected in front of shops and covering rehries and roadsides venders also be removed for convenius of people while as a substitute, metallic sheets fixed on iron bars having similar design and size be provided where necessary for beautification of the city.
There is need of comprehensive master plan for beautification of the city, to ensure cleanliness and civic discipline in all bazaars and markets of the city, he said he further said that provision of relief to the people.
In order to review pre-flood arraignments made by the district administration, rescue 1122 and other departments, a mock exercise conducted at Head Sagar Canal.
