Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala has announced the names of the top position holders for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) First Annual Examination 2026, a day before the official declaration of the Matric results. The board will announce the complete Matric First Annual Examination 2026 results on August 6, in line with other Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab.
According to BISE Gujranwala, a prestigious ceremony will be held in Sialkot on Wednesday to honour the high achievers for their outstanding academic performance. During the ceremony, the board will also officially release the complete Matric results, enabling students to access their detailed scorecards.
Top Position Holders
The overall first position was jointly secured by Adeena Rashid of Future Vision Secondary School for Girls, Shaheenabad, Gujranwala, and Sadiqa Almas of A+ School System for Girls, Gujranwala Cantt, with both students scoring 1,190 marks out of 1,200.
Zain Akram, a student of Fauji Foundation Model School for Boys, Shakargarh, Narowal, claimed the overall second position with 1,188 marks.
The overall third position went to Muhammad Ahmad Amir of WAPDA Town High School for Boys, Gujranwala, who secured 1,187 marks.
Science Group (Female)
Adeena Rashid and Sadiqa Almas also jointly topped the Science Group (Female) after obtaining 1,190 marks each.
The second position was shared by Aisha Omar of Divisional Public High School for Girls, Lalamusa, Tehsil Kharian, and Noor Ul Ain of Al-Nisa Public High School for Girls, Zafarwal, Narowal, with both candidates scoring 1,186 marks.
General Group (Female)
In the General Group (Female), Tayyaba of Science Locus High School for Girls, Satellite Town, Gujranwala, secured the second position with 1,143 marks.
Maria Saher from Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Gujrat, claimed the third position after scoring 1,142 marks.
General Group (Male)
Ali Haider of Government High School for Boys, Thatha Khero Matmal, Tehsil Pindi Bhattian, Hafizabad, topped the General Group (Male) with 1,137 marks.
The second position was secured by Ali Raza of Government High School, Wania Wala, Gujranwala, who obtained 1,096 marks.
Abdullah of Government High School No. 1, Kamoke, earned the third position with 1,093 marks.
Gujranwala Board’s list of top performers reflects outstanding academic achievements by students from public and private educational institutions across Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Narowal and surrounding districts.
Students awaiting their Matric results will be able to check their detailed result cards once BISE Gujranwala officially announces the SSC First Annual Examination 2026 results on August 6, alongside the remaining education boards across Punjab.
