KARACHI – The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for Intermediate Part-II or Class 12 Science General Group.
During a ceremony, BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho announced the names of the top position holders.

Jannat Bint Ali Dost of Concordia College Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus secured first position with 1,005 marks out of 1,100, earning an A-1 grade.
Hamza Shakil, son of Shakil Ahmed, from Adamjee Government Science College stood second with 1,003 marks and also secured an A-1 grade.
Laiba Zulfiqar, daughter of Zulfiqar Ali, of Bahria College MT Khan Road took third position with 989 marks, also receiving an A-1 grade.
The board said 18,913 candidates had registered for the examinations, while 18,591 appeared. A total of 10,511 candidates were declared successful, putting the overall pass percentage at 56.54%.
Among the successful candidates, 748 secured A-1 grades, 2,193 obtained A grades, 3,184 received B grades, 3,076 secured C grades and 1,280 achieved D grades. Twenty candidates passed with an E grade, while 10 candidates were also declared successful.
Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho praised Adamjee Government Science College for its performance, noting that one of its students also secured second position in the Science General Group after the college achieved all three top positions in Pre-Engineering.

The results have been uploaded to the BIEK website, while candidates can also check them through the board’s official Android application.
