Bari Imam Urs set for visionary transformation under Deputy PM Dar’s guidance

ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting of a committee for development and arrangements of Hazrat Bari Imam Complex as the event attracts devotees from across the country.

Deputy PM and Foreign Minister presided over committee meeting to oversee development and arrangements of the Hazrat Bari Imam Complex. The meeting extensively reviewed the preparations for the annual Urs Mubarak at Hazrat Bari Imam.

In meeting with senior officials, Dar emphasized the need for top security measures during the Urs and instructed for all necessary facilities to be provided to pilgrims from across the country and abroad. He specifically called for special arrangements to cater to women participants at the Hazrat Bari Imam Complex to ensure their comfort.

He also emphasized importance of ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors during the celebrations. Additionally, a special committee, including the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner, and other officials, was formed during the meeting to oversee Urs arrangements.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Hanif Abbasi, Gauhar Zahid Malik, Sohail Iqbal Bhatti, Gen (retd) Afzal Janjua, Raja Sarfaraz Akram, Inam Rabbani, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the Secretary of Interior, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and other dignitaries.
