KARACHI – A leading private bank has extended its working hours at selected branches across the country to facilitate the customers.

The decision has been made by the HBL for the continence of their customers. It said the selected 153 branches are now open for extended hours from Monday-Friday.

The branches will operate from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, the bank announced in a post shared on Facebook.

“Your time, our priority. HBL branches are now open for extended hours. Visit selected branches from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM,” read the post.

Bank Holiday

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed on Tuesday, July 01, which shall be observed as bank holiday.

All public and private banks and development finance institutions will remain closed for public dealing on the aforementioned date.

However, employees of the banks/development finance institutions/microfinance banks will attend the office as per the normal routine. Public and private banks/DFIs/MFBs will resume public dealing on Wednesday, July 02, 2025.

“This closure is part of the routine procedure to ensure the smooth closing of books and proper financial reconciliation,” the SBP stated.
