The medico-legal autopsy, conducted at DHQ Hospital Chakwal, found that Hania sustained at least 11 firearm-related injuries to multiple parts of her body, including the chest, abdomen, pelvis, thighs and upper limb. Forensic experts concluded that the child died from overwhelming blood loss and severe multi-system trauma caused by the gunshot wounds.

One of bullets penetrated deep into the right side of her chest, while another entered through the back of the chest and travelled into the abdominal cavity. A particularly severe wound in the right groin area caused internal abdominal tissue to protrude, highlighting the extent of the damage inflicted.

The examination further documented multiple gunshot injuries to both thighs. One projectile passed through the right thigh, creating entry and exit wounds and causing extensive destruction of soft tissue. Additional injuries were recorded in the femoral region, pelvic area and left elbow.

Forensic specialists noted clear signs of both entry and exit wounds, with the pattern of injuries indicating that multiple bullets struck the child and travelled through different regions of her body. The report described widespread trauma affecting several vital areas simultaneously.

During the external examination, medical experts found Hania’s clothing heavily soaked in blood, with tears corresponding to the locations of the gunshot wounds. Signs of partial rigor mortis and post-mortem staining were also observed.

The final medico-legal opinion stated that Hania died from multiple firearm injuries leading to polytrauma, hypovolemic shock and cardiopulmonary arrest. Investigators concluded that the massive internal and external bleeding caused by the wounds resulted in rapid physiological collapse.

The report further confirmed that all injuries were sustained while the child was alive and were sufficient, in the ordinary course of nature, to cause death.

The forensic findings provide the clearest account yet of the tragedy, painting a heartbreaking picture of the injuries suffered by the young girl. The case has sparked widespread outrage and renewed calls for accountability as investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
