Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah has issued a stern warning to actor and director Yaser Nawaz, asking him to stop using her name on any public platform.
The actress also cautioned that she might take legal action if the practice continued.
In an Instagram story, Alizeh Shah termed it her “final warning” to Yaser Nawaz, stating that she worked with him on a project five years ago but he continues to mention her name repeatedly during television appearances. She alleged that whenever he appears on shows, he refers to her while claiming that his experience of working with her was not good.
The actor further claimed that Yaser Nawaz often apologises and assures that he will not repeat the behaviour, but then continues to do the same by taking her name again in subsequent appearances.
Sharing screenshots as evidence, Alizeh Shah said she has records of all such shows in which, according to her, Yaser Nawaz attempted to insult her publicly.
She warned that if his conduct does not change, she would file a defamation case against him without issuing any further notice.
Alizeh Shah also stated that if Yaser Nawaz persists, she would reveal to the entire entertainment industry why certain people do not prefer to work with her, adding that such revelations would not reflect positively on his public image.
