LAHORE – The official anthem of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 will be sung by renowned singer and music composer Ali Zafar, who has already begun preparations.

A message released on the PSL account confirms that Ali Zafar will mesmerize the audience with his voice in the upcoming Season 9 anthem.

The social media message shared a line “Seti to bajay gi” hinting that it might be the title of the PSL 9 anthem.

It’s worth noting that Ali Zafar last sang the PSL anthem in 2018. In 2016, he performed the inaugural season’s anthem titled “Ab Khel Jamay Ga” with enthusiasm.

In 2017, for the second season of PSL, Ali Zafar presented another energetic anthem titled “Ab Khel Kay Dikha.”

Ali Zafar had won hearts with his wholehearted composition for the 2018 season.

On the other hand, Aima Baig was part of the 2022 season’s anthem “Sitaray Tum Hi Tou Ho” along with singer Atif Aslam, and in 2019, she was part of the PSL anthem with Naseebo Lal and Young Stunners.

It may be mentioned here that the matches of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League will be played from February 17 in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, with the final event scheduled for March 18 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.

Karachi will host the most matches, 11 out of 34, including qualifiers, eliminators, and the final. In total, 34 matches will be played in the T20 tournament.
