ISLAMABAD – Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal on Monday commended Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the improvements in the province, describing the current situation in Punjab as “very good.”
“One Maryam Nawaz should also come to Karachi as well,” said the actress in a local TV show with host Faisal Qureshi.
The remarks were made during a television talk show and quickly gained attention on social media after a video clip of the conversation went viral.

The clip has sparked discussion online, with viewers appreciating the actress’s praise for Punjab’s administration while highlighting ongoing urban issues in Karachi.
During the show, host Faisal Qureshi urged the actress to make a similar comment about Karachi, joking that the city’s administration might listen to her. In response, Momina noted that she now spends most of her time in Karachi and often faces challenges there, adding humorously, “Perhaps Maryam Nawaz should come to Karachi as well.”
