A couple and their two children – a boy and girl – were crushed to death when a speeding trailer knocked down in Sundar area here on Sunday.
According to Rescue 1122 and police officials, the accident occurred when a trailer hit a motorcycle, carrying four members of a family.
They said that the accident occurred speeding by trailer driver.
The officials informed that the deceased were identified as 40-year-old Munir, his wife 32-year-old Shakeela, their son seven-year-old Hammad Ali and six-year-old daughter.
The rescuers shifted the dead bodies to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police launched investigation against the trailer who fled the scene after the accident.
