Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s 21-day Awami Theatre Festival is captivating audiences with its diverse and emotionally resonant performances. On weekends, double shows have been organized to accommodate the enthusiastic crowds. On the 16th day, the festival featured two contrasting plays: Dharay Ja Dhadaka in Memoni, directed by Aftab Kamdar, and Biwi, Batwa Aur Batwara in Urdu, directed by Rauf Lala. Dharay Ja Dhadaka explored the delicate dynamics within a small family, particularly the challenges between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
