Winter vacations in Punjab to start from December 20

LAHORE – Punjab Secretary for Schools Khalid Nazir Wattoo confirmed on Monday that the winter vacations in the province would begin on December 20 and continue until January 10, 2025.

A total of 20 days have been designated for the the winter vacations.

In a separate development, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi postponed intermediate practical exams scheduled for Monday due to a public holiday announced by the federal government in the twin cities.

Tanveer Asghar Awan, the Controller Examinations, said that the new dates for the postponed practical exams would be announced later. He stated that the practical exams in other districts, excluding Rawalpindi, would proceed according to the original schedule.
