After the arrest of Maryam Nawaz, vice president of PML N and daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif outside the Kot Lakhpat jail Lahore, the lahore police raided late night in different areas of Lahore.
They raided to arrest Muhammad Shafiq at his residence 323 DD DHA, who is the most active worker of PML N. The police also raided in Kamahan village and in the vicinity area of Lahore most of the party workers have already been detained.
The police sources said that they were taking precautionary measures to maintain law and order and to stop the agitation.
PML(N) leaders condemned the arrest and raids of the Lahore police on the PML(N) workers.
