Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer, Hafiz NaeemurRehman, has stated that supporting the two-state solution for Palestine is akin to pleasing the US and Israel. He added that Israel, backed by the US, is rampaging as a terrorist state, and if its aggression and terrorism are not stopped, those who seek to please Israel will not be spared either.

He expressed these views during a press conference held at Idara Noor-e-Haq. Hafiz Naeem emphasized that there is no ambiguity among the Muslim Ummah regarding Israel and that the time demands that Muslim rulers and armed forces take united and decisive action against Israel. He also expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, calling it a significant loss. From October 1st to October 7th, Jamaat-e-Islami will observe “Palestine and Lebanon Solidarity Week” across the country.

Criticizing the government, he said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while speaking at the United Nations, mentioned Kashmir and Palestine but attempted to please the US and Israel by advocating for the two-state solution, which goes against the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and Pakistan’s national policy. Hafiz Naeem urged the people and political leadership of Pakistan to unite in taking a firm stance for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that it is not just a party issue but a matter for the entire Muslim Ummah.

He announced a historic “Gaza and Lebanon Million March” to be held in Karachi on October 6th. He also criticized the 16-year rule of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), blaming it for the destruction of Karachi and rural Sindh, adding that the people of Karachi continue to suffer from injustice and discrimination at the hands of the government.
