RAWALPINDI – Six more employees of Adiala Jail were taken into custody over alleged facilitation of PTI founder Imran Khan, the sources familiar with the development said on Thursday.
According to the sources, among the detained jail staff are three women including a female sweeper and two lady wardens as well as three CCTV monitoring officers who are being questioned.
The sources revealed that the female staff members were allegedly involved in passing messages between Bushra Bibi and the PTI founder inside the jail.
The mobile phones of the detained staff were also confiscated.
Besides it, the workforce at Adiala Jail has been increased for enhanced monitoring.
It may be mentioned here that earlier, security agencies had also detained Adiala Jail Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram on similar charges of facilitating Imran Khan and Assistant Superintendent Bilal was also questioned.
