Forces mow down seven wanted terrorists

The Pakistan Army led security forces gunned down seven more wanted militants and the wounded five others during an Intelligence Based Operation conducted in Kurram tribal district on Thursday.

The security forces also claimed to have busted terrorists’ hide out besides seizing large quantity of weapons, explosive material and sophisticated weapons from the terrorists whom the military officials say, were involved in numerous subversive activities against the security forces as well as the innocent civilians. There were no reports of any casualty on part of the security forces.

“On August 15, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Kurram District on reported presence of Khwarij. During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij’s location, as result of which, seven Khwarij of Fitna Al Khawarij were sent to hell, while five of them got injured,” says an Inter Services Public Relations communique issued on Thursday.

Khwarij’s hideout was also busted and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
The killed Khwarij remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as the innocent civilians. The military’s Media wing said.
