Roadside bomb blast leaves 3 injured in Quetta

In a disturbing incident on Friday, an improvised explosive device detonated along the eastern bypass in Quetta resulted in two individuals sustaining injuries.

According to the Quetta Police Department, the explosion occurred during the busy hours of the day, catching commuters and bystanders off guard.

The targeted location on the eastern bypass has been a vital transportation route for the city, and the incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of public spaces.

Immediate after the blast, emergency services and law enforcement rushed to the scene to assess the situation and provide assistance.

The injured individuals were quickly evacuated to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment
Meanwhile, an assistant sub-inspector was injured when some unidentified persons lobbed a hand grenade on Shalkot police station in Quetta on Friday.

According to police, the grenade fell inside the police station and exploded with a bang.
As a result, ASI Ghulam Raza received severe injuries. He was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment.
