LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has issued the third selection list for centralized admissions to private medical and dental colleges in Punjab.

This year, UHS is conducting centralized admissions to the private sector, mirroring the longstanding practice of overseeing admissions to public sector colleges for the past 17 years on behalf of the Government of Punjab.

Admissions to private medical colleges will conclude by January 31, and the process for dental colleges will be finalized by the end of February.

The third selection list specifies a minimum merit of 71.15% for MBBS and 68.9545% for BDS.

Post the second list, there were 982 vacant seats in private medical and dental colleges.

According to a UHS spokesperson, new entrants are required to submit fees by January 25, while upgraded candidates must complete the joining process in their respective colleges by the same date. Candidates have been advised to choose either to upgrade or remain in the colleges at their discretion for the upcoming list, as the fourth selection list is scheduled for release on January 26.
