Sindh Food Authority and National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry Sindh University Jamshoro are working together to establish a state of art SFA divisional laboratory for Hyderabad Division as per the MoU already signed between them.In this regard a meeting was held at NCEAC, SINDH UNIVERSITY JAMSHORO between DG SFAAghaFakharHussainDurrani and Dr. Syed TufailHussain Head and Professor at the National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
Dr. Ahmed Ali Shaikh, Dr. Seema and other officers were also present in the meeting. It is to mention here that NCEAC have provided a lab and technical assistance and SFA will equip it with equipment and staff for establishment of said lab.
In the meeting, DG SFA Agha FakharHussain briefed them about further development on establishment of Divisional Food Analysis Lab.
He added, ‘ SFA is ensuring safe food items to the people of Sindh and for this purpose establishment of Food Analysis Labs at Divisional levels in the province are necessary.On this occasion Dr. TufailHussain assured DG SFA Agha FakharHussain his full support for the success of the lab.
