Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharmila Farooqi Thursday said that her party wants elections to be held within the constitutional limit and assured that PPP will give priority to the young population and encourage them to participate in the upcoming general elections for national progress.
Talking to a private news channel, she said PPP strongly believed in democracy and was ready for the general election, adding that any political party that achieved people’s mandate in free and transparent election would have all the right to form a government and address the country’s problems.
She said PPP will give its party tickets to its young members in the coming elections, adding, that our parties will not raise hollow slogans like the PTI was doing, but will take practical steps to bring the youth into the mainstream.—INP
