Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan terminated the basic party membership of Muhammad Abbas Jafri and directed him to refrain from using party name and designation, who resigned from the party offices as well as basic membership of the party on May 25, 2023.
PTI Secretary General issued notice of termination of his basic party membership on Sunday, which would be effective immediately. Omar Ayub Khan said: “You were a member of PTI but it is learnt via large scale broadcast and your video message circulated on different fora of media that you have left PTI.”PTI Secretary General reminded him tha he willfully announced his resignation from the party offices as well as basic membership of the party on May 25, 2023.Now, Omar said, therefore served him with notice of termination of his basic membership from PTI.“You are directed to refrain from using party name.
