A youth committed suicide while a woman was shot dead in separate incidents here on Wednesday, police said.
According to details, Abbas Haider 27, stated to be a drug addict committed suicide by stabbing him in chest with sharp edged weapon in Nawan Kot area.
Near Shehzada Pir Darbar area of Nawan Kot, an accused killed wife of elder brother identified as Quratul Ain 34, over domestic disputes and fled the scene.
The bodies were shifted to different hospitals and police after registering separate in both incidents started investigation.
