BBC has prepared a two-episode series on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled “India: The Modi Question” which links his role in 2002 anti-Muslim riots in Gujarat that left over two thousand dead.

BBC’s series examines how “Narendra Modi’s premiership has been dogged by persistent allegations about the attitude of his government towards India’s Muslim population” and that it will “investigate the truth behind these allegations and examine Modi’s backstory to explore other questions about his politics when it comes to India’s largest religious minority.”

“The series tells the story about his troubled relations with the Muslims. Modi is a product of RSS,” said the voice aired during the documentary.

The series also examines the claims about his role in the 2002 Gujarat riots and the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act.

However, the series is available only in UK, due to restricted policy of BBC.—KMS
