Five killed in firing over property dispute

At least five persons were killed and two others injured in firing of armed men over rival over property dispute here on Friday. The culprits also slit the throat of two
According to details, the incident took place in Azam Warsak tehsil Barmal of South Waziristan where members of two groups of Zalikhel tribe which were in old dispute over ownership of a piece of exchange blows. The clash worsened after which armed men of one group opened fire at members of other group.
As a result of firing five people were killed on the spot while two others critically injured. The pitiless culprits also slit the throats of two deceased. Heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area but due to failure to overcome the situation, heavy contingent of FC took control of the area.
The police have started investigation into the incident.
Firing claims one life in Gujranwala: A youth was killed as some unidentified persons opened fire near the area of Abdal in Gujranwala during wee hours on Friday.
According to police sources the unknown men shot down the victim when he was returning home after doing his night duty, it seemed it occurred due to an old-enmity , a private news channel reported.—INP
