A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, in which Special Secretary Department of Specialized HealthCare and Medical Education Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Additional Secretary Admin Zahida Azhar, Deputy Secretary Admin Abu Bakr and other related officers were present. The recruitment process for the posts, preparation of working papers for the development of doctors and review of feedback from online portals.

The concerned officers gave a briefing to Secretary Health Imran Sikandar Baloch Provincial Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch said that the Department of Specialized HealthCare and Medical Education is creating an integrated online system to make all the recruitments on 20% merit.

The Department of Specialized HealthCare and Medical Education Punjab has accelerated the process of working papers for the promotion of doctors. The process of new recruitments will be made on 100% transparent system. Requisitions for the recruitment of senior registrars are being sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission.

In the Department of Specialized HealthCare and Medical Education, immediate action is being taken on the request of any applicant. Provincial Secretary Health Imran Sikander baloch said that feedback should be given about the action taken by the department on all the requests and complaints received on the online portals.

The progress on ongoing development works is being continuously monitored.

A requisition has been sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission for the new recruitment of seven hundred senior registrars to meet the shortage of doctors in teaching government hospitals of Punjab.

Through the amendments in the service rules, difficulties related to recruitment in the Punjab Public Service Commission have been removed.
