Prof Dr. Arfa Sayeda Zehra has joined Iqra University Islamabad as Professor Emerita. According to a university’s official, she will contribute to the field of education, arts & literature, and human development in which she has an experience spanning for more than half a century.
Dr. Arfa has a Doctorate in History from University of Hawaii, USA after being selected for the prestigious East West Center Fellowship Award. Her specialization is in Intellectual History and South Asian Literature.“Her exemplary efforts to create a society that values and practices human rights, gender equality, and freedom of thought are laudable,” said Dr. Wasim Qazi, Vice Chancellor, Iqra University.Dr. Arfa stated: “I am honoured to be associated with Iqra University and I am sure that it will be a unique experience for me. I look forward to this academic interaction enriching my professional interests.”
