To counter the problems faced by Muslim countries, Jammat-e-Islami Leader Sirajul Haq stressed the need for the entire Ummah to come together on one platform.
The JI Chief expressed these during an Iftar dinner hosting for more than 15 Muslim countries’ Ambassadors/diplomats here at a local hotel. Keeping in view the current challenges with some Islamic countries, he said there was need to use the defence related resources for security of each other country. He also stressed for quick solution of Kashmir and Palestine dispute and also recognizing the new government in Afghanistan and initiating new phase of development and rehabilitation there.
Naib Ameer JI Liaqat Baloch, Mian Mohammad Aslam, Dr Fareed Paracha, Azhar Iqbal Hassan, Mohammad Asghar, Nasrullah Randawa and Director Foreign Affairs Asif Luqman were also present there.
The former senator Sirajul Haq reiterated his stand that a united Ummah could decisively solve the problem of Kashmir and Palestine. He pointed that Kashmir and Palestine were two important issues before the Islamic world. He also suggested a strategic economic partnership between the Islamic world and that all Muslim countries should have a shared defence program.
“The unity of the Ummah is the solution to all problems. The problems of Kashmir and Palestine can be solved immediately if the Islamic countries raise their voice with full force,” said Sirajul-Haq.
Haq also called for a unified economic market for Islamic countries, stating that Pakistan and other Islamic countries should form an economic market together. He also further advocated for a joint defence force. “The unity of the Ummah is the solution to all problems. He also said that entire Muslim countries were bestowed several natural resources, now it required to utilize it for welfare and prosperity of entire Muslim countries.
JI Chief Sirajul Haq has advocating for adopting interest-free Islamic banking system and said that the interest-based financial and banking systems have plagued the national economy. He said that interest-based financial system is one of the major reasons behind the inflation, unemployment, and miseries of the people.
