A train which was going to Lahore from Mianwali was derailed in Khushab when it hit a truck on Saturday. According to details, Mari Indus Train smashed into a truck that was stuck at the railway line near the Quaidabad area of Khushab.
The collision derailed the train. However, no loss of life was reported. Police and rescue officials rushed to the spot for rescue. According to the Railways Department, a relief train has reached the venue of the crash. It said that engineers were fixing the rail track and the rail traffic would be restored in two hours.—INP
