Pakistan Democratic Movement chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday said that the preparations for the long march are in full swing and the PDM’s long march will be held as per the schedule on March 23.
Addressing the news conference here, Fazlur Rehman said that the controversial bill is always sent to the steering committee in parliament. The opposition will not be targeted.
He went on to say that the government counterparts are not called in the meetings. In order to pass any bill in the government, the politicians are not informed on previous basis. No consultation was done on the State Bank Bill.
He mentioned that the presidential system of government is the system of dictators. When the constitution of the country is under practice, the presidential system could not be beneficial for the country. No experiments should be done on the country’s governance system as the country was broken due to the same system.
Talking about the soldiarity with Kashmiris, Maulana said that we ourselves gave Kashmir to India. The world should take an initiative on solving this issue. The government of Kashmir should not expect anything from Pakistan government.
The Maulana further said that JUI will show solidarity with Kashmiris on February 5.
