An earthquake of mild intensity jolted different areas of Swat on Sunday but no causalities or property damages were reported. According to geological wing of PMD, tremours measuring 4 on Richter scale were felt in Mingora and its surroundings.
People of the area where the quake was felt rushed out of their homes and shops in panic reciting Kalma e Tayyeba and verses from Holy Quran. But no causalities or property damages were reported. The epi-centre of quake was stated to be at Afghanistan-Tajikistan border at depth of 120 kilometer.
