The police arrested a notorious drug pusher and recovered narcotics here on Monday. The mobile police during routine patrolling on a tip-off regarding presence of a wanted drug peddler conducted operation near Saim Nullah Paharpur in Dera Ismail Khan.
The narcotics smuggle riding a motorcycle upon sight of police attempted to flee but fell down of motorcycle in haste. The police held him and during his search recovered 510 gram methamphetamine (Ice) and 3.7 kilogram high quality hashish from his possession.
The police confiscated the recovered narcotics and after registering a case against the detainee started an investigation.—INP
