Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has said that Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are on the same for development of Balochistan.
The Chairman Senate and Deputy Chairman Mirza Muhammad Afridi met with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar at Governor House Lahore on Monday.
During meeting various issues of national interests, legislation process, prevailing political situation of the country and issues relating Balochistan came under discussion. Expressing concern over the situation of brutality in Kashmir and Palestine they urged United Nations and Human Rights Institutions to take action.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar appreciated the role of Senate in the process of law making for the interest of country and said that government believes in the strengthening of all institutions including Parliament. He said, “We are strengthening the democracy in the country. We are moving forward along with allies in the country including Balochistan and all the decisions are made with the consent of allies. We will make Pakistan a peaceful, developed and strong country by working together.”
Governor Punjab said that there is no doubt that the development of Balochistan is essential for the prosperity of Pakistan. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan the government is working for the betterment of all provinces. It is our utmost priority to provide the facilities of health and education to the people of Balochistan. We are providing clean drinking water from the platform of Sarwar Foundation. As an elder brother Punjab stands with Balochistan and we will support them in every difficulty, he added.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani said that we will ensure the provision of basic facilities to the people. Everyone has to think beyond political interests to tackle the challenges of the country. The strength of the Parliament is the strength of democracy and nation.
