The Anti-Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed on Saturday to have arrested nine alleged terrorists including a woman in intelligence-based operations in different cities of the province on Saturday.
Four terrorists including female Maria Aiman were arrested from Lahore while the remaining was nabbed during operations in Chiniot, Multan and Toba Tek Singh.
A spokesman of the department divulged that the arrested terrorists belonged to the banned organisations. He said the personnel recovered provocative literature, explosive material and cash from the pos-session of the terrorists. The spokesman said further investigation was under way after registered cases against the terrorists.
