Sindh govt to bear expenses of PHD student’s treatment afflicted with brain tumor

Sindh Government has decided to bear the expenses of Sonan Memon’s treatment who is putting up with a brain tumor at Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi.

The AKU administration has been apprised of the provincial Government,s decision via a letter issued on Friday. Sinan Memon a highly adept and competent student who hails from Daro a small town of district Sujawal secured the first position in the A-level Examinations across Pakistan.

Later he attained the top slot in his graduation as well followed by M.phill from Oxford University and was to fly to the USA for his Ph.D on scholarship, but ahead of that he was diagnosed with a deadly tumor.

He was shifted to Aga Khan Hospital Karachi where his condition is stated to be critical, however, doctors might go with the option of shifting him to the USA for further treatment.

His father told media persons that doctors would take any major decision after exhaustively evaluating the reports of Sonan.

He further said that, as soon as the news of his son,s ailment went viral on social media, the Sindh Government had decided to bear all expenses of his son’s treatment.

“I am thankful to the local PPP leadership for their vigilant move to save the life of my son and all those who raised their voices for my son”; he added.
