Chinese language course concludes

The first class of the basic course of Chinese language organized by the Executive Training Center at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur concluded yesterday.

In this class, 28 students completed the Chinese language course. Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences was the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Mamoona Ghani, Director, Executive Training Center was also present on the occasion.

Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, said that the purpose of this training course was to impart basic Chinese language education to the youth so that people belonging to different disciplines can master Chinese language on a daily basis.

Syed Shaheer Hassan Rizvi, incharge Executive Training center said that this course was started on the special direction of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. He thanked the Dean Faculty of Management Sciences Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal and Director Executive Training Center Dr. Mamoona Ghani for their special cooperation and guidance in this regard.

He further said that an English language course was also concluded at the Executive Training Center in which 22 students participated.—PR
