KTBA for fixing technical issues in online returns filing

The Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) has pointed out date extension granted by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for filing returns will be-come useless if serious technical issues in online return form submission are not resolved.

The KTBA wrote a letter to FBR Chairman Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed apprising him od com-putational errors and technical issues in filing of income tax return for the tax year 2021, said a statement issued on Wednesday.

In his letter KTBA President Muhammad Zeeshan Merchant said that technical issues have not been not rectified yet and taxpayers are facing difficulties in filing their returns. —TLTP
